This one is based on a brew i already did for my AG#4, but with a few changes, i did this last saterday and only just found the data cable for my camera. This time i'm using crystal hops, upped the bitterness a little to 28 ibu and replaced the pale crystal, which i found gave to strong a flavour last time with Caramalt.
I also added some gypsum to the mash and boil and instead of using Irish moss i used a protafloc tablets

Brew Length 23 litre's
4000.00 gm Lager Malt
500.00 gm Wheat Malt
250.00 gm Caramalt
40.00 gm Crystal [4.90 %] (90 min) Hops 21.0 IBU
30.00 gm Crystal [4.90 %] (15 min) Hops 7.3 IBU
30.00 gm Crystal [4.90 %] (Aroma Hop-Steep)
1 Pkgs SafAle US-05
1 Protoflic tablet

Cooled the wort to 80C and then added the aroma hops and left for 30 min's

Fermenting away nicely:

Overall a good brewday, it fermented down to around 1.006 and is now bottled, i cant wait to ty it. This is the 3rd time ive used lager malt and each time it's fermented right down to 1.006, is this likely down to the malt that it ferments better than other pale malt?
Also the protofloc made such a difference to the clarity that i dont think the irish moss will get a look in again.

Really impressed with the clarity! Do you use a hop strainer?

Looks good, really nice picture of the cold break. Never seen it before!

By the way what do you use to attach your chiller hose to your tap?

floydmeddler - yes i use a hop strainer, this one in fact: http://www.hopshopuk.com/products/view/ ... rim-boiler

kevron - The hops came from barley bottom, it's only just been bottled so not had a taste yet but are described on the site as a "Aroma hop with delicate flavour and hints of tangerine. Per 100g"

nanobrewer - on the end of the chiller i soldered a adapter to a larger pipe size and used a clamp on hise adapter, here's a better pic:
