Weighed in at 1044 17litres so quite happy.

I've noticed the cold break on my last 2 brews to be a lot more pronounced since using CRS/Gypsum & Epsom; would you guys agree?

Since I started water treatment and switching to protafloc tabs, my cold break looks like a massive jelly fish in the wort, very strange!

I brewed a TTL way back at the end of March, and its beautiful, I`ll save you a bottle or two for
the next time you are up.
Mine ended up at SG1035 but i had 24ltrs, so yours is gonna be quite a bit stronger, but i only brew
mine to no more than 4% so i can drink more :D

I'll maybe make this my second AG... seeing as it was going to be my first! :)

Already do mate, top man is Davie! Wonder if there are any other brewers around here. Would be good to get a fellow brewers opinion of my efforts!

A single tablet in 23l could be using four times more protafloc than you need (see page 14 of this article).
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

I'm from livi originaly as well (in Loughborough now)- my folks still live there so im up quite often. In fact half of my homebrew efforts seem to make there way up there - after my dad's been through on his way home from working down in derby and hes taken a few to "see how they are progressing". Which usualy means hes robbed off with a box of whatever he could get his hands on!

Edina used to be my main shop - he would always get his cornies out for a quick half or 2 when you were in chatting to him - although before davie took over the shop the guy that used to run it was a bit of a strange one (don't remember his name now). I remember him saying once that he used to get e-mails to the shop intended for the old owner which were rather "interesting" as he put it lol.
