Crop Circle

Well i managed to sneak a brewday in, inbetween other things,
I`ve gone with something of my own.

3500g MO Pale Malt
400g Wheat Malt
25g Centennial @ 60 mins AA 11.9 %
25g Cascade @ 5 mins AA 7.6 %
1 Protafloc Tab @ 20 mins
11g Safale S0-4 Yeast.

Target was 25 ltrs @ 75% Eff = OG 1036
BU:GU 0.89 IBU`s 32.36

I actually ended up with 26ltrs @ OG 1036 so not a bad effort.
Cant wait to taste it as both hops smelt great.

I`ve just called it Crop Circle as a homage to The Cambridge Rock Festival,
its a bit cryptic but i know why it fits :D

There I was thinking it was the Hopback beer.

Sounds like a nice pint - I have found it quite hard work making good low abv (less than 4%) pale ales so I'll be interested to see how this one turns out. Centennials for bittering too . . . you must have a cheap source.
Rob

POTTER BREWERY (mothballed 2020)

Fermenting: nowt (sadly). Drinking: still a few bottles of my imperial stout knocking about . . . it's rather good now
