That should have a kick to it ;) Are you paying the yeast danger money? :D
Best wishes

Hi Kev,
Yeast is just the normal run of the mill S04. Can't beat the stuff. :D

Looks a mad brew; how many sachets of S04 did you use?

I've got a 1.120 brew over 13L coming up and was thinking maybe 2 sachets would be required. According to Mr Maltys pitch rate calculator it comes out at 1.3 sachets.

Just the 1 x sachet, and sprinkled on the top. Didn't make a starter  .......
Its going lovely at the moment. Nice thick creamy head and is down to 1.060 already after 2 days. Had a taste and by jingos its malty and already tasting good. Well happy :D

Think you'll be ok with just 1 for your 1.120. S04 is a bloody good little yeast to beat.

Looks good. Will be interested in knowing how it turns out when matured. :)
How long do you intend to leave it?

Sorry for the late reply, been away for a week.

I'm going to leave it for a minimum of 12 months before I pull off a taster.

2011 Christmas probably will be about a good time.
Hope I can wait that long [-o<
