Noar Hill Bitter 10-09-09

Post by booldawg » Thu Sep 10, 2009 1:03 pm

This was supposed to be a Gales Butser Bitter but my hop inventory skills are crap, didnt have any Goldings etc. So I based the grain bill upon the now Fullers brew but had to amend the hop schedule. Butser Bitter is named after the magnificent Butser Hill which you'll see if you ever drive on the A3 near Petersfield, Hants. I've named this brew after another hill about 5 miles from it. Anyone from Scotland, Wales or north of Sheffield will no doubt laugh at my classification of 'a hill'
