it smells and tastes lovly, very christmasy, cant wait too see how it comes out, i may add some ginger once the fermentation has died down,
was a nice smooth brewday, althoug there was a twist in one of my IC hoses and the connection started spraying stream out then burst open..no biggy, two minutes to fix and back on with cooling,

100% you have to have a daft name for it thats half the point of an xmas beer its also how you know it'll be good (I wish)
I'd encourage a bit of ginger recon it might give it that nice toasty warm fealing on the way down, a pint to have with slippers and a pipe infront of a roaring fire.
When did you chuck the spices in?

I'm getting there; i'm sure it'll be along the same lines as yours... Love the colour of yours and I'll bet the taste is bang on for bonnie night and xmas... Must get fired in there soon!!
I'll prolly use OP as a baseline and work from there with strength and put my fav hops in there, cascade, challenger, bobeks, brambling and let it mature till xmas.
Regarding a name for yours; hows about "Santa's suede head schwally"?

' Ebenezer's bell'
'The ghost of christams hangover'
'Tiny tim's pissed again'
im rubbish at naming ales..

How about: "Festive Fistfight", or "Christmas Crowbar"

That looks great, I may just plagiarise that (if you don’t mind

) a little. When the cinnamon etc go in does, is that last 15 min to? What difference would it make to leave the brewing sugar out (I’m a bit of a purist

)?
Thanks
