The recipe for this scottish 80/- was adapted by myself from a recipe in a well known book. ended up being a bit higher on the O.G than planned and a litre short on the brew length so i hope with the extra strength its still classed as an 80/-.

Scottish 80/-

23 litres

4100 g pale malt
215 g crystal malt
125 g wheat malt
30 g chocolate malt
20 g black malt

24 g fuggle - 6 %AA - 90 min
24 g golding - 6.1 %AA - 90 min
18 g golding - 10 min

safale S - 04 yeast

Mashed @ 68 c ( a little high)

EBU - 36
EBC - 37
Efficiency 80%
Predicted O.G 1.047
Measured O.G - 1.050

All tucked up. Collected 22 litres @ 1.050 in the end. I was gonna dilute it to get down to 1.047 but decided not to in the end

I think i've brewed that recipe, or something similar. It's a good'un. Good luck with it.
