Four Shades of Xmas Stout - 29/09/09

29-Sep-2009 Four Shades of Xmas Stout

Increased all the ingredients to boost the gravity but keeping the ratios roughly inline.
Hoping to get this at 1.055 as this will be my dark xmas beer.

Still drinking last few bottles of last Octobers London Porter and its excellent. :D
So I'm looking mature this one as well. One cornie and the rest (30lt) in bottles.

First time I've used a starter from the sediment of a bottle conditioned beer, so keeping everything crossed for a healthy fermentation.

If it's drinkable in time this will be one of my Sutton entries.
