It's Wednesday, it must be brewnight!

I'm brewing up a nice hop heavy Best Bitter tonight for my friend Tim, who was a fan of Flowers beers but is now a bit of a hophead. I'm blending these two fine passions in one ale (hopefully).

Check on my progress if you like - no disasters so far!

Managed to get target 50L in the FVs at 1.046 exactly with no liquoring back, so very pleased.

More news and pics later. Maybe even the odd vid if the camera didn't steam up!

One question......you said you used some "popcorn" in the grist for head. What did you mean by that?

That looks great! I could almost smell the Styrians whilst watching the video. Funky music too; I half expected Shaft to step into the frame with a nice pair of fetching lunes, purple paisley shirt with oversized collars and big hair
