Today I am brewing my annual Bohemian Pilsner.

Aiming for 76L at 1.048, 40IBU

2000g Munich Malt
500g Melanoidin Malt

90g NZ Pacific Hallertau (4.4% Alpha Acid First Wort Hops)
100g Barley Bottom Saaz (3.3%Alpha - First Wort Hops)
75g Barley Bottom Saaz (3.3%Alpha - 90 Minutes)
125g Barley Bottom Saaz (3.3%Alpha - 15 Minutes)
100g Barley Bottom Saaz (3.3%Alpha - 70C Steep)

Just tuned in to watch the boil while I eat my tea!

WRT the burner blowing out, Bullfinch sell windshields for the burners that are basically a short, truncated cone and work pretty well.

I've got one spare if you want it - I never use it as I brew in the garage and there's no wind. I think they charge about £6 each for them.

(I am presuming you still use the Bullfinches)

By the way - where can you get lager malt at £16.50 a sack? That's almost half whatI have to pay.

Battery died in the video camera . . . my fault for using the OSD I guess.

Its not the wind blowing the Bullfinch out . . . I think there is a gas flow problem possibly a blocked jet as that side of the burner is always less powerful than the other . . . I have the Windshields for the BF but they take the kegs so far from the good bit of the flame they really slow everything down . . . Time to go and put the 150g 15 Minute addition in . . . . BBS
