Friday 13th !!!!

Well it was Friday 13th, which I was reminded of when I picked up the hops for the brew I had mashed in earlier that morning. All went ok until the boil decided to overflow the boiler making a lovely sticky mess, not to mention the wasted wort Then after getting it all cooled down & safely into the FV the electric in our village failed, now that would not have been a problem however my system relies on an electric pump, so cleaning the system was not possible until this morning when I was confronted with a lovely baked on sugary, hoppy mess which took some removing I can tell you.
Anyway, all cleaned up now & the brew is fermenting away nicely so all's well that ends well. I suppose I was lucky enough to get it all into the FV before the village powered down
