I especially like the shot of the
Disney Princess Plate
Seriously though, it looks like a good brew
Cheers

nice to see one of those boilers with a 10 gallons of wort as Im wanting to do two cornies worth at a time once I get a bigger mash tun. Only problem is I usually put my boiler on top of my workmate but after the boil the workmate boards are bending so dread to think what twice the weight would do

Clean that element for a long and happy life together. Well done though!

@wetdog: -yes 10 gals no problem. no overspills. was going to top it up as req'd but wasn't a need. I actually ended up with excess wort too at the end.
@siholtye: yes, the element was from a decommissioned kettle, so was pretty knackered when I got hold of it. the plan was to swap a new shiny one out of my smaller boiler once I'd moved up to this big boy, but decided to use it as my HLT now, so when it goes, I'll get a new £5 kettle!
@DC: its a coleman chest cooler 48 quart (an ebay bargain). its only really coming into its own now I've got the boiler capacity for 10galls. my previous 5 gal brews were a little dwarfed in the cooler! There's some threads on a cylindrical cooler by coleman someone posted in the equipment threads, so you may want to look at those too. I can fit all bar a couple of litres of first sparge water into this boy, so my second sparge is larger than the first to offset that. as you can see in the pics, when mash is topped up with 1st sparge, it gets quite near the top!
