Hello,

Getting rid of all pre-crushed grains, along with a pack of Goldings before I get my malt mill for Xmas

So I weighed out the grains, threw a whole pack of EKG's at it, and pitched 33g of Notts

Having a strong old ferment on.

OG 1.058, IBU 35
94% Maris Otter
3% Crystal
3% Melanoiden

EK Goldings
30IBU full boil
5IBU 15mins
30g steep

1.058 @ 0 hours
1.036 @ 24 hours
1.012 @ 48 hours

Ohhhh sounds like a good 'un

At least you know what went in it because if you didn't, it may well turn out to be one of your best brews!

Kegged this today and this tastes like a grown up sensible strong bitter. Malty body, firm bitterness, fruity hop flavour, classic Goldings

All my 6 kegs have beer in them now

so no brewing 'til the new year. Cheers all
