Just been in the garage brewing a beer that i made up as i went along (as i tidied the garage actually)
Mashed 90 mins at 67
3500g Maris Otter
200g Crystal Malt
100g Torrified Wheat
150g ish Golden Syrup
Boiled 90 minutes
25g Challenger - 90
20g Challenger - 15
Irish Moss - 10
5g Challenger - 5
Hit my 25L target spot on.
Works out around 3.6% and 26 IBU - A nice quaffable Challenger Bitter (i hope)

Merry Christmas

Sounds yummy. I must try an all-Challenger brew one day.

The Coniston Bluebird Bitter is a good Challenger one to do, just let me find the recipe
3500g MO Pale
270g Crystal
22g Challenger @ 60mins AA6.3%
25g Challenger @ 30mins AA6.3%
21g Challenger @ 20mins AA6.3%
Looking for around 36 IBU`s but the hop schedule was given to
me by the head brewer at Coniston Brewery,i`ve brewed it thrice now
and its been fantastic everytime, even when i had to it with Boadicea
because Challenger was difficult to come by.
