Well with the snow still falling and my passage completely blocked to work (yet again)
i thought i may as well make use of the time, so i`ve raided the freezer of any small amount of hops
and concocted the following.

3500g MO Pale
300g Crystal
200g Wheat
20g Northdown @ 60 mins AA7.9%
30g Progress @ 20 mins AA7.1%
15g Fuggle @ 10 mins AA3.9%
25g Aurora @ 5 mins AA8.1%
11g US05 (only packet of yeast i have left)

Taget is 23ltrs @ SG1040
BU:GU 0.94 IBU`s 38

Mash started at 9.35am @ 67 Deg C

Not sure how it will turn out but shouldn`t be that bad.

Sweet. I'm trapped at home as well. Was gonna get a brew on but took the dog out and am now preping bottles and labels for the crate of Riggwelter MkII to give to my brother on the weekend for part of his his 21st present.

I have just checked on my Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout and it's attenuated 62.1% in under 3 days Tastes awesome!

I need to just make loads of beer, I could probably do with a bit of hop using up to clear out some of the older ones (though kept frozen)...
I'd have to do a serious IPA like pantsmachine's.

A bit of a cock up on my record keeping ment i had actually used the Aurora up on my last brewday, so i had to bung in
30g of Boadicea instead, but i like Boadicea so no biggy.

Yeah the brewday went very well thanks.
I`m also thinking of doing a serious IPA to just to use up what else is left in the freezer
