I've done that recipe, it was a good one. Good luck with it.

Well we're done and tucked up - overshot again and got 26L @ 1036 - had a good day on the gravity front really - think I need to up my estimate of my efficiency again. Some great smells and lovely colour for this one - looking forward to it (though not to getting it clear having pitched Windsor  ).

This is almost done - it shot off to an amazing start - airlock activity was almost continuous on Sunday evening. It's now down to 1.016, so probably another 4-5 points to eek out I reckon.

Only got to 1.015 on this, which is a little high, but racked to corny keg and fined. Also got 13 rather murky pint bottles out of it too.

FG sounds good to me, probably due to the high amount of crystal and high mash temp

Plus I used Windsor... Still, I thought 58% apparent was a little low, but it does give it full body for a beer that's only 2.7%. It is a tad sweet - probably bring mash temp down a touch next time, or perhaps use something like Ringwood. (and it'd clear easier! )
