Brewed this today.

12lbs 2-row Pale
1lbs. 15L Crystal
1lbs. Munich
.25oz. Columbus FWH 14.2% AA
.25oz. Simcoe FWH 12.2% AA
.25oz. Citra FWH 11.1%

.50oz. Columbus @ 60
.50oz. Simcoe @ 10
1oz. Citra @ 5
O.G 1.064
Yeast: UK-Double O, Seven! WLP-007

Here's two pretty good pics of how I get my wort into the fermenter. I start a whirlpool and leave it alone for thirty minutes.
I then siphon off the very side of the kettle. You can see in the pics where I began siphoning. The break material stays
in the center of the kettle until the wort moves down, then it begins to flatten out and move to the sides.

Looks good. Do you use an immersion chiller and whirlpool with it in?

I do move the immersion around when It's cooling. When the wort is cool, I take my big spoon and start stiring very fast. When it gets up to speed, I pull the spoon out and cover. Come back in thirty minutes and start siphoning.

did you hop the Mash?

Looks good, does whirlpooling work with leaf hops as well?

I didn't hop mash.

I don't think it would be a good idea to whirlpool with leaf hops, unless you didn't use a lot. You could put you leaf hops in sock.

Ignore that, I just saw the line break in your recipe and stupidly thought that the first lot of hops were with the grist... 'Forum Blindness!'
