Got this on today, as at a loose end.
A Strong Dark Mild, I am hopeing will be fruity, with an orangy slant.

The Hops weighed out

The Mash (mashed in at 68 deg C forgot photo too busy stirring)

End of Mash Temp (only lost 1 deg C in 90 mins)

First runnings after juging some back in

Sparging (note novel flow controler wedged behind tap)

A Silent Beast looks on from the background longing to be warmed up and abused!

Fuggles in for 60mins at start of boil

First gold in at 30 mins from end

Proto Floc in and immersion coil in at 40 Mins, (The first time I have used protofloc, fizzy little buggers aren't they)

Crystal hops go in at 55 mins ( smell is amazing at this point, wish it was scratch n Sniff)

Cooled down to 24 deg C and now areating

Windsor Yeast Pitched
