Ringwood XXXX Porter

Just coming to the end of the boil on this one - XXXX Porter from Ringwood out of GW's book. Had to replace torrified wheat with wheat malt as I don't have any about (shopping list for future...), but otherwise all going very smoothly.

Going with some Wy1335 slurry on this one that was left over from a Tribute-style beer I racked last week.

23L at 1050 - almost spot on 8) Only thing is that I may get a bit of hop carry over from the slurry - it had a bit of a hoppy smell when it went in the fermenter as I ran off the boiler, but that'll probably not show too badly in what should be a pretty dark and roasty beer.

Hope yours turns out as good as mine did, as seen here. Definetly one to brew again!
