Sounds good, it reminds me that I need to do a wheat beer soonish. I wonder how the yeast and smoked malt will meld in the finished product?

Cheers, I'm wondering that too,,,
But I'm up and running now so here's the first pics.
Ingredients. Not much and it's a bit unusual/worrying using so small a quantity of hops. No danger of the hop strainer clogging this time though...... I hope.
Doughed in.
Time to post the pics here and have a cuppa.

A familiar story.... I've never tasted a smoked weizen before either, there's nowt like jumping in unprepared with both size 9's

Just the cleaning and clearing up left to do now (Worst bit of any brewday).
My method of fly sparging, primitive I know but it works for me.
Run off.
Boil pics.
Starter pitched.
All in all a nice slow deliberate brew day with only one hiccup. I have no idea where I have misplaced my hydrometer so I am trusting my gravities are what I was aimng for
