AG#4, Peculiar request

Morning.

I didn't bother posting AG#3, as it was a fairly straightforward run of Graham Wheelers very fine Summer Lightning somewhat interrupted by having to run my nightmare niece to the station.
Here's the latest though, using the Brilliant Little Pump (BLP) as suggested by leewink here
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=32137

Made everything so much simpler, no jugs (ooh-err) no lifting, no tricks, no unpleasant bending...

Recipe was an adapted version of Graham's Old Peculiar as requested by the missus using some of fatcontro11ers lovely home-grown cascade he sent with the hop plant instead of goldings for the last 10 minutes. They just smelled so good.

Here's some shots of the BLP in action. No, it's not big or shiny, but running at just 6V with a variable AC adapter and with the tap part-closed it did the recirculation thing just fine. Upped the power to a colossal 9V to pump the wort up to the boiler and bob's yer uncle, one handed sparging possible!

Close up of BLP, it really is that tiny.

Nice controlled flow!

It's down in the cellar now happily doing its' thing.

Looks really good. My mate used one of those pumps too and said it worked a treat. Wish I discovered them before shelling out £60 for a Totton!
