All done by 3.30pm.
Okay, the technical stuff: (thanks to Beer Engine)
11.4L mash vol
28.5L total vol.
OG 1.050
FG 1.012
Efficiency 70%
Final vol - 19L
Now, clearly being my first brew I haven't a clue what all this means.
Several elbows worth of grease later, all kit ready for next brew tomorrow. AG#2 will be a dark brew. Watch this space.
Once I've figured out how to add pics, this will be updated.
Thanks to Leyland for boiler, H&G for chiller and small malts, BorisCharlton for hops, Fuse for mash tun, Wilko's for accesories, and local brew shop for MO grain and bits.
Power to the AG'ers.
Gothamite.
Sorry for the delay, and not all in the right order, but hey not bad for first ever AG brewday.
Will nowupload photos for AG#2 and submit.
Hooray, AG#3 come Sunday!!!

Yep, you need to attach the photos by clicking on the 'Img' button and inserting the link, as opposed to trying to upload them as a URL, which you have done. No worries though!

Sounds like a nice recipe BTW

You could also open a photobucket account & attach your pics from there, Chris wrote a "how to" here.

Well done on your 1st ag brew btw, I'm sure that you will be delighted with it.

First FG reading tonight came out as 1.020. First impression was pretty decent, with a very lemony aroma and a good bitter taste.
Will check reading again tomorrow, but nowhere near the 1.012 that BeerEngine suggests. Looks like it's a waiting game for me!
