Got about 21l @ 1.043 , which i then topped up to 23l.
Incredibly smooth brewday. Mash efficiency wasn't the best i've had, but that might be because i decided not to bother with my normal water treatment, so the pH may have been slightly off. I tried to mash at slightly higher temp than normal, because the last time i used US05 yeast it just kept on going and going and what i was left with was a bit 'thin'. Hence the carapils too. Too many variable to draw any conclusions, but what i got was good enough

Not used either of these hops before, so it's going to be an interesting one. I tasted the trial sample, but i find it really difficult to get past the sweetness to determine what else is there (especially as i burned my tongue on a scalding-hot cup of coffee this morning!) Will have to wait and see
