Bout ye all?

It's nearly 2am and I've just started the boil of my first ever full mash brew!!!! I'm totally surprised at how well it all went so far (touches wood) few silly things, but no real disasters, tis a learning curve as they say.

Me and my brew buddy Chronic are doing the recipe for Old Speckled Hen in Graham Wheelers book, I've taken photos and kept a brew log, so I'll get it up here tomorrow at some point.

We've got 2 baby burcos, a 20 and a 25 litre. Hahahahahaha we found out after the sparge that the 25 litre one doesnt work so we had to improvise, more on that tomorrow!!!!!!! Schoolboy error or what???!!! Moral of the story = Check the fecking equipment works before starting!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, thanks for the help you guys gave me, and I;ll get a proper post up tomorrow, this is some craic........

Equally crazy, i've just done the opposite and stayed up all day to brew after working a night shift - now thinking about going to bed, or should I just give that a miss and have another beer! :?
