my first AG tasting

Post by dazer23866 » Thu Mar 17, 2011 4:11 am

Its been one week since i bottled my first AG (Old Hooky Clone my favorite)and before i went to work i put one bottle in the fridge .
well its 2.54 in the morning ive just got home from work and i am going to crack that bottle open.
Off comes the top, slight smoking gun and hiss, poured it slowly into the glass it has a small head but nether the less it has a head, its clear but having used WLP002 i would expect that.
Now for taste its good quite bitter under the tongue a bit harsh but with time i hope it will settle down and carbonation will improve .
I think i will give it another week at room temp and then a couple in a cooler place and then try it again.

Well its not quite Old Hooky but i think it will be

Its always a great moment when someone tastes your beer and they are so surprised, "you actually made that" someone once said to me.
