Well right on time i got the brewery 95% running last night, so i was up early this morning
to give it a proper run, i`m doing the following brew today, its almost identical to AG#80
apart from some slight changes to the amounts of Wheat and Crystal, and also my Challenger
are 6.8% as opposed to the 7.2% from the first brew, i`ve taken a few photos as i`ve been going along (For a change :D )
so i`ll post them later along with a report of how it all went.

Naughty Dog
7kg MO Pale
450g Crystal
350g Wheat
50g Challenger @ 60 mins AA 6.8%
40g Fuggles @ 30 mins AA 5%
20g Fuggles @ 10 mins AA 5%
30g Challenger @ 0 mins AA 6.8%

The aim is for 46 ltrs @ OG1038
FG 1009 making a 3.8% ABV

Photos not that good but will add them to photobucket at sometime.

The brewday itself went rather well, it was a little bit tight in there but the main thing is that its do able,
i did however get my volumes all wrong and ended up with 10 ltrs extra  but with only a 2 pt drop
in SG so efficiency up a bit.
I didnt lose as much to evaporation as i was expecting and there is no dead space in these tanks, but thats only
a minor problem, easily corrected for next time, it did get a bit fumy in there with the gas burner running with both
the open window and door, but i`ll rig a fan up to handle that, because of the hot day steam didnt really cause any problems
there was no condensation on the walls or ceiling, but on a cold day it will be dripping so need to think about that.

The only problem was the sparge arm didnt spin, it worked fine Friday night when i tested it but not on the day, so spun it by hand :(
Cleaning up also took longer than expected but at least i can dig out the mash tun and boiler without the need to tip them up which is a plus.

All in all a good brewday and i`m pleased with the fact that after all the messing about i`m now set up to brew again, plus the fact that its set up at
home means that i can just pop in the house for a brew etc.

Been looking back through older posts - its been quite a journey, really great to see you still on top after all the 'challenges' along the way.

Sounds like you have sorted out a few 'bugs' as well as producing excess beer. It doesn't get much better than that ! :D
