Just put the Safale 04 in very nice day but I need to calibrate my stainless steel as a ruler is not the fastest way to work out volumes

3.8kg Maris
0.4kg Crystal
15l mash @ 67 for 2.5 hours (took the kids swimming)

45g Fuggles 60
30g Goldings 15
30g Styrian 15
Whirlflock 10

got 18l @ 50 efficency 74%

It's going to be a little stronger than I really wanted it, can I add water now it's in fermenter? So that it is 20l @ 45

I've never tried Wherry myself but have heard good things about it. Hope it turns out well for you Prolix.

It looks like a good solid no nonsense recipe to my newbie brewers eyes.

You can add pre-boiled cooled water to the wort before pitching the Yeast(I had to on AG brew 2). After pitching the yeast I am not at all sure.

Looks like a fine recipe
