Brewing today but not sure what so,

I got out there and this is it.

Ill stick the Cam up for sad'os in about Half hour, few pics so far.

Grains:
6 Kg Pale Malt
1.6 Kg Flaked Barley
.5 Kg Roast Barley
1 Kg Oat Malt
.5 Kg Crystal Malt
.25 Kg Black Malt
.75 Roast Wheat Malt
.3 Kg Choc Malt
.365 Kg Melanoidin Malt


Hops:

Home Grown hops as they have a B X smell about them.

100g @ 75m
100g @ 30m
100g @ 15m
240g @ FO




RIMS:
55º
65º

Mash out at 77º

Yeast:
Crouch Vale Wet (Essex)

2 x 23l @ 13Brix in the Incubator and its rich and Dark. :D

There yo go. Saddo did watch some of the video but the long shot of 2 empty FV's had me struggling :D Enviable set up there Gary, you give Home Brewers a good name =D>

Gee thanks people, brews doing fine, as expected I had two buckets looking like Don kings hair when the yeast took off ,should have taken a pic.

Thats a hell of a set-up. I'd love to have a outbuilding with decent brewing gear in!

Trouble is you end up filing it up with stuff you don't need, I'm sure my shed could be better organised.my man cave :-)

Oh yes

Sneaky 2 pint test ( GP on in a mo so might xfer the other batch and nick a few pints)


its Dark

Slight roasty on the nose but its 6º and flat

mouth feel for me is good no hint of it being mainly water :)

at this temprature Ijust get a slight roast with a sweet dark chocolate with a blackberry hint at the end( the burp highlights the Blackberry)

Well I did post it off to the above link, but have to say after a few pre Xmas drinks its not my cup o tea, but who knows it might be your Holy grail of Darkness.
