I'm making DL's London Pride to the same recipe DaaB a few days ago. A nice easy one! Everything is going well and I'm sparging as I type this!

Mini mashing proper recipes that's hardcore. I only just managed single hop single grain beers mini mashing! If truth be told I haven't moved much beyond it since going AG!

Did a McEwan 80/- mini-mash at the weekend. Now that was hard!

The flaked maize and flaked wheat kept blocking my 'mixing boil' tun, but I managed to get a 'trickle' in the end. Don't know how it will come out. I didn't mix the grains as per Daab's website, it would have taken forever and kept blocking, so I kept pouring water into the top, and it kept trickling out! The gravity was OK, so I thought why not?! I assume this is fly sparging?

Anyway, hit the OG on that too, so hopefully it'll be OK!

Just need to loose a few degrees now, so it's in the sink, then I pitch and watch a film with my brother.

Think I'll reward myself with a chilled 'London Pride'!
