Cluster Single hop pale ale - Extract

I failed at photos with this but I wanted to post it as a proven, simple but solid recipe template for new (and old!) extract brewers.

Batch size: 20L
Boil volume: 25L

2Kg - Light Dried Malt extract
500g - Crystal Malt 120EBC (I actually cold steeped this overnight and added the water to the boil)

30g Cluster whole leaf - 60 minutes
30g Cluster whole leaf - 10 minutes

That's it. Chilled it down to 19c in about 35 minutes and pitched a properley hydrated pack of Nottingham. Fermented out at 20c in 3 days.

I brewed this 10 days ago and it is pretty much ready to drink already. There is a little bit of biscuty sweetness left but I dont want it to dry up too much, also some haze but it is meant to be fresh and it's tasting great. The fruit complexity of the hop is very enjoyable. Its weighing in at a highly quaffable 3.7% so I just need the sun to come back out now!
