AG#11 Bullet Proof

On Friday I was at a loose end, so I decided to put the brew on.

I received some hops from Malt Miller and decided to use some of them up.

AG#11 Bullet Proof

GRAINBILL:
85% 3150g Maris Otter
10% 370g, Torrified Wheat
5% 200g, CaraPils

Hops

30g Green Bullet 12.7% 60min
30g Nz Pacifica 5.6% 45min
15g Nz Pacifica 5.6% 10min
15g Nz Pacifica 5.6% 0min
20g Nz Pacifica 5.6% dry hop

Sounds delicious. The beer looks pretty dark in the pictures, but I can't figure where the colour came from given those ingredients. Is it just an optical illusion, you think?

I think it must be, I will get a sample out of the fv tomorrow and take a picture.

It's the same grain bill I used in my AG#1 and that was really light coloured

Interested in finding out how this will taste as I have some NZ Pacifica from MaltMiller too. (and Pacific Gem and Jade).

From the the advice I received on my NZ Pale recipe thread it looks like less is more for NZ hops, you don't need to add large quantities.... and no 150g 10 day dry hopping!

Me too, sadly I lost 10ltrs when I came to kegging it, but that's a different story :(

Need to put some in the fridge to chill, doesn't save alot of bottles because of the spill.
Might get the keg in the bar over the weekend :)
