The wife is away all weekend so had some mates over for cards, there went my summer lightning and wherry, so had to replenish the stocks. As only a stout and a styrian stunner left.

4.4kg Maris
42g styrian 90 min
37g fuggles 90 min
20g goldings 0 min

23l @1040 I hope (70%)
IBU 33

Things are going great, sun is shining, brewing outside, no one to moan that the scales are missing, in short a great day. Boil well under way.

Even did a batch of turbo in the middle.

Will have to order more grain tomorrow as that was the last, have chocolate, black and crystal still, was going to try out some other adjuncts to see what they are like.

you blokes sure make me jealous . i might have to start brewing more in the next few weeks i need to fill every thing up now for summer .

might have to send the swmbo away for a week end because all this time i thought the whining sound was from the pump ? how wronge was i

why do the lasses moan so much when we stay home. they moan when we go out , thay moan when we stay home , they moan when we drink beer , they moan when we don't drink beer and make it .

they are a funny breed them women they go out with us when were single ,buy them drinks at the pub and get drunk. they brag to there girl friends how good we are at making beer and tell every one and there dads.thay love us and then comes the wedding day cause they want to be with us because were the best thing in the world and they love everything we can do and then they want to change us .because we drink make beer ! I FOR ONE CAN'T WORK THEM OUT?

we dont change at all really so is the moaning passed down through the genes ? or is it that secret talk that the mother inlaw gives her just before the wedding?
opps off topic there sounds great p i will have to send her away and get my mates around to play cards and make beer.

Nice rant TW! Top quality. Thankfully i have a partner, no rings on finger and hence no MBO bollocks. When i want to have boys around to get pissed, play cards, throw darts etc i sent her around to her mothers for the night.

Win, win.

Back OT, have added the TTL recipe to beersmith. Thats one ale i cant seem to find over here. The black sheep and OSH keep me going but what i wouldnt give for a pint of TTL!

What yeast are you using for that?

Cheers
