IPA day

Post by Dave S » Fri Sep 20, 2013 11:44 am

Just returned from hols during which I read Mitch Steel's IPA book - a good read. So I was inspired to brew an IPA yesterday. It all went really well I think - target mash pH 5.39, actual 5.38. Target OG 1059, actual 1059. So really pleased with those results.

The last time I made this I dry hopped with 100g Cascade. This time I'm going to use Fuggles at a slightly lower rate to make it a truly English brew. Never dry hopped with Fuggles before, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

EDIT: Double post. Don't know how that happened.
Best wishes

Dave
