Adnams yeast recovered from a 5l mini cask - first 1.5l starter I did came ready a couple of days ago but had to put off brew day so made another from the second 5ltr mini keg - it was only 600mil but is fine as 12hrs after pitching it's coming through the airlock!!. Mind you it was a bit of a squeeze with 25ltrs in the SSBrewBucket.
All went to plan, in-fact even better! Hit all numbers spot on, ....which isn't usual !! and was still at 1.013 at the end of sparge and also collected 29ltrs pre boil. Beersmith said I had a 90% mash efficiency

End Sparge 1.13 - tick!
29ltrs into boiler - Tick Tick!
PreBoil 1.038 - tick!
End Boil 1.46 - tick
Into FV 25l - Tick Tick!
Only problem I can envisage is ferment temp as I haven't got a fridge... YET! Crashing is going to be a toughie. Fingers crossed it's OK.
A few pics of brew day p@rn
