Looks good. I just did an ESB with an O G of 1.050, so you are good on that.
I'm just here for the beer.

+1, looks like a classic ESB recipe to me. Merry Christmas to you!

How funny, I just brewed a version of Jim's ESB last night. Same mash temp, and closely-related yeast too.

Looks great to me. As you've already mentioned, I usually like to include a portion of unmalted grain (torrified wheat, oats, flaked barley, buckwheat, etc) for added bready mouthfeel, fulness, head retention, and lace. But, your recipe without it is very authentic too. Looking forward to hearing how it turns out.

Cheers!

last wednesday i dry-hopped this bacth with 23grs of styrian goldins!! i will bottle this tomorrow if i leave work earlier enough!!!
Fg was 1010, sample tasted lovely, some orange in side, but not that bitter as i wanted due to the age from the hops maybe!!

cheers

Wow, that's really dark for just 5% medium crystal and 2.4% chocolate! Somehow, I never get so much tint from dark grains. In any case, nice work, and congratulations on your awards!
