Sounds good, I love a Belgian brew.

No worries. The lag time is essential for developing those desirable Belgian yeast traits. Good looking beer there, best of luck!

The airlock gas for this smells like lager now. perhaps not surprising given it's entirely Pilsner malt, but I expected some funkier notes from eh Belgian yeast. It's in the living room so around a constant 21c so hopefully some banana nice esters in the final thing.

That lag time is especially helpful for the banana ester: isoamyl acetate.

You'll get some flavour at that temperature. That yeast goes off like a rocket so it's bound to have picked up some heat when it got going.

Thanks for the reassurance chaps. Doing a big batch by my standards (I usually only do 10L) so hoping for a good un.

Krausen got to about four inches so it's happy at the moment.

Just realised I'm not sure if this is meant to clear or be served with yeast in suspension like a Weiss?

iirc the beer in the image in gh book is clear?

Yup. Mine turned out good and clear.
