Pretty good brewday using a stepped mash for the first time. Efficiency went up too. Came out at 1062!

now thats tasty, the mangrove jacks has to be at 26 degs i think.

I've got it at 20 as I didn't want too much banana. I noticed the yeast range was 18-30 so may knock it up further.

yeah i ramped up from 19 and went for middle of the temp range, seemed to be just right for phenolics and esters......

let us know the outcome eh?

Now at 1020. Dry hopped with another 50g. Temp up to 24. Banana coming through.

On tasting the sample jar the IBUs, ABV and body all seemed a bit much for the style. So liquored back 2L to reduce all slightly. Will adjust recipe for next time.
