Looks bang on that, i've always made European wheats. I presume this yeast will allow the Nelson to shine? I would save the expensive Nelson and bitter with something cheaper and flavourless, magnum perhaps?

Yeah I'm hoping that the yeast will do that.

I didn't have any Magnum, and didn't want any other bittering hop to potentially affect the Nelson flavours. I only used 11g at the end of the day, so I'm not too worried.

I'm hoping that this will be a real easy summer drinking beer that even SWMBO might like.

Cheers

This brew looks to have finished at 1.010 and the sample is tasting very subtle on the hop front, so much to Mr Wales' glee, I've just dry hopped with my remaining Nelson Sauvin @2g/L

Currently enjoying a pint of this beer on a warm sunny evening.

I'm not sure if it's the novelty of serving this beer from my Crusader set-up, or just the fact that it's such a spot on easy drinking beer, but I'm very happy with this one.

It still isn't quite as hoppy as I wanted, but it's mildly fruity and has a lovely silky body.

I reckon a hop like Citra would go very well in this one, but I've got 100g of NZ Wai-ti in the freezer that might have to go in a mk2 version if we have an Indian Summer :)

Cheers
