Had a brew day today. Used the Pilgrim hops from Stevie
Was going to brew a simple pale ale but went for something a bit darker. Named the brew Black Gold; as some might refer to Rhondda Valleys coal

OG 1.050
I steeped the black malt in 1L of cold water for 24hrs then added to the boil at the last 10 mins. Mainly for colour but hoping to get a bit of roast coming through. The steeped liquid smelt lovely.
