Yeast starter - is it really a brew day? It’s close enough

Had a good one? Tell us about it here - and don't forget - we like pictures!

I have to say I’m gobsmacked! Never bothered with a starter before but I shall always do one from now on - I’m a convert.

Just checked and the fermentation has nearly hit the expected gravity in 3 day’s. Now sitting at 1019 - which is only 2 points off the expected FG.

Give it a few more days to clean itself up and I reckon it’s done. Brilliant.

It started with kits to save money and now look........!!!

Lots of kit, too many ingredients and not enough time, but a patient wife.... who loves my beer...........

Could be worse :-)

Glad you’ve joined the yeast side. Brewers make sugary wort. Yeast make beer. Despite ‘craft’ claims. You’re on the right course…

I've been "no-chill" brewing more theses days as I can pitch the yeast starter exactly when it is ready (plus a shorter brew day, no waiting around while chilling)
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget
