Evening All,
Here is the brewday for a light lager I did a few weeks back - this was to please the masses rather than myself.
Target gravity 1.041
83.3% Lager Malt
11.1% Crystal Malt
5.6% Cara-pils
Mash at 64c for 75 minutes
Boil for 60 minutes
18 IBUs Saaz at 60 minutes
4.4 IBUs Saaz at 15 minutes
2 IBU Saaz steeped for 30 minutes
Mangrove Jacks M76 Yeast
Fermented at 10c for 10 days
Temperature raised to 19c over 5 days
Temperature left at 19c for 2 days
Lagered at 3c for 20 days after
Ingredients
Hops weighed out
Final result

Morning
Clarity was absolutely spot on, it was crystal clear. The colour was a light gold, very light flavour to it as well; I think a bit more malt would have helped. The head retention was very good and carbing at 16 PSI seem to do the trick as far as carbonation was concerned.
The smell, I can't really describe it other than it smelled like a lager. The keg was demolished within an hour so, so it's safe to say it went down well with the masses.

Probably the lack of malt was a plus for the less discerning drinkers.

Only 19l and 6 or 7 continuous drinkers. We had an IPA on tap too but that wasn't really touched (I made a dent in it mind).
James
I should caveat that with those that enjoyed it were homebrew skeptics so while on a small keg I'll take that as a victory
.

James,
It made me laugh when I posted it.
English version... `Did you drop it on the floor`?
Welsh version...`Dropped it on the floor did you`?
That came out as the way I speak and it sounded too Welshy.
Try saying the Welsh version with a Welsh Accent and you will sound like a person from Pakistan or India!

I’m a Geordie and I’ve been mistaken for being Welsh - go figure.
Also, the Welsh version above sounds like Yoda-speak.
