Black Shadow Bitter

Post by charliemartin » Thu Apr 18, 2019 7:56 pm

Brewed this one on Tuesday. OG came out at 1.040, so 1 point up on predicted gravity. Progress hops were from "A Bushel of Hops". Very resiny and fresh. Styrians came from The Homebrew Company and were very fragrant and floral. Brewer's Gold was leftovers from an earlier brew, think they came from the Malt Miller.
Yeast was re-cultured from a bottle of an earlier brew (Auld Reekie). A mix of Imperial Tartan and Gervin as in the last brew (Mandarin Dream).
