All in all a great brewday sorry about the delay in posting my reply but the leccy company have been playing with the powergrid and left us with no power before I went to work so I couldn't post anything :(

Gravity came out at 1.049 which was good as the book suggests 1.047 - 1.051. I didn't take many pics as I had important stuff to do like testing a new cleaning solution for my guns etc.

The wort sample nice and clear and about the right colour with some liquid yeast still in the demijohn pitched about 3 seconds after this photo was taken

It's now bubbling away like a good'un :D

Another successful brew by the looks of things.

Managed to sneak in a 1/2 day of hunting saturday. Rarely saw a rooster within range and just a few covey of quail. Was out with coworkers on strange land. Between the 3 of us only 2 pheasants  I was more than a little rusty.

It made me miss my dog - it just isn't the same without her.
