So a Belgian Wit brew evening, started 5pm and all finished and cleaned up by 1130pm... A record time for me.

Belgian Wit...
Re: Belgian Wit...
Looks great.
Nice one. I ought to do Belgium again. Made one a few years ago and really enjoyed it.
Well done on a personal best, but 5 until 11:30 I have to say is scary.
I now do overnight. Which is better described as a 12h offset.
Setup, press the start button.... Come back 12h later and start boil. Run away again and 12h later rack off and pitch.

Re: Belgian Wit...
Good pics, what's the green string for?
Re: Belgian Wit...
Thanks
The green twine is to hold the insulative matting onto the braumeister. I refuse to pay for the proper one! It does the job well enough
It was a late one but I have a busy weekend ahead doing some DIY so couldn't allocate time to it any other day. I wanted to get the brew done this weekend, so it is a case of burning the candle from both ends...
I hadn't brewed a Wit in while either. Certainly a few years. I had tried to get into the competition with the Malt Miller and Elusive Brewing, but with all the technical issues that came up didn't manage it. Still should make a refreshing drink for the summer, so all is well that ends well!
