Brewing today an American Pale Ale.
Grist is:
Joe White Signature Ale Malt 85%
Simpsons Light Crystal 5%
Best Malz Malted Wheat 5%
Best Malz Munich 1 5%

Strike water heated up and ready to go.

Mashing in.

Recirculating the mash.

Mashing away while I watch Day 2 of the third Ashes Test from the MCG.

Sparging

60 min hop addition.
Cascade 10 g
Mosaic 10 g
Simcoe 10 g

Immersion chiller added to boiling wort to sterilise.

At the end of the boil I cooled the wort to just under 80C and added 30g of Cascade, 30g of Mosaic and 30g of Simcoe.
I then let that sit for 30 mins.

Yeast pitched and safely in the fermentation fridge.
There will be a dry hop added during fermentation consisting of 50g of Centennial, 50g of Mosaic and 50g of Simcoe.
Was aiming for 1.051 and it was spot on so very happy.
