Well just as well you noticed at the start and not at the end result when bottled. You could look at it as went well for noticing it, if that makes sense.

Aaaah I see. I think I might try fermenting in a King Keg, I've got more of those than I have FV's :idea:

i ferment in king kegs, they are really handy for that. theres more than enough head room even for a full 5 gallon brew, the neck is wide enough to get your arm in for cleaning and they are really sturdy!
