today i'm making my wifes favourite brew.
250g wheat
125g crystal
4200g maris otter
35g northern brewer hops for 60 mins (9.5%AA)
7g fuggles for 10 mins (4.7%AA)
mashed at 63C for a slightly drier beer.
been mashing for almost an hour now. this is my first brew in almost 3 months i think! been far to busy at work, and a bit lazy as well.... <_<
i've almost got every thing i need for kegging properly now, just need a decent fridge, as the beer cooler i have is just to demanding on the old electricity bill to leave on 24/7, plus it makes one hell of a racket!!!!
i've been thinking of using it as a wort chiller for when i use the machines we have at work. its an oil jacketed boiler, all thermostatically controlled, and since we have tweo of them, both holding 200 litres each, i can use one for a mash tun and one for a boiler!

ok, so its a bit over kill, but hell, i just gotta try it out one day!!!!!!
anway, back to todays brewing.....
