Currently boiling my first extract brew

Post by SilverAnalyst » Sun Nov 11, 2007 3:49 pm

Well I'm 20 minutes into the boil and I've been stirring it often.

Do I need to stir it regularly? Any tips?

I hope this one turns out alright as it's my first extract brew.

I've not done an extract brew, but I find that boils tend to stir themselves.

Probably too late now, but you need a good rolling boil to extract the bitterness from the hops and ensure a good hot break.
