yeah Daab the manufacturer is indeed Scotmalt,it was given to me by a friend who's uncle had given it to him,but he's more into turning things into steam if you know what i mean?
Anyway his uncle has won lots of comps in yorkshire for his brews so it must be decent stuff and i was hoping to get some recipes off him but im still waiting so as you said i deserve a few drinks so brewing this weekend for me. :D

Do you have any thing else to go with the malt extract?

My last Extract Beer was made for my Wife (Tiff's Tipple) as she had always said I should make a basic beer before trying different recipes. So, I threw in about 2.5kg of extract, 500g of CaraPils and my hops. I think I used Goldings can't remember the amounts but was likely to be 50g for 60 min 25g for 30 min and 25g for 15 min or something similar.

While my wife only had a pint or 2 t most, it was a very enjoyable beer.

No POP i only have the extract but the recipe calls for crystal malt, challenger hops goldings hops and irish moss so a trip to hbs is needed

There is no need to use Irish Moss with extract. It is used to precipitate the protiens out of the beer. Since you are using extract this will already have been done!
