Well while shopping today in Kilmarnock I was lucky enough to pick up a jam maker/boiler in Lidl, so next step the recipe and ingredients. I am a Stout fan and my family enjoy the pear cider kit i use, so Stout I think early January, can any off you recommend or point me to a recipe and idiot guide to first time extract for a good strong Irish or Russian stout.
Thanks in advance

Search on the recipe boards for Ditch's Stout. I've not made this myself but enough people have on here and they all rate it very highly. :D
If I had all the money I'd spent on brewing... I'd spend it on brewing!
